Well, tonight's the night--the night people en masse go out and vote.

So, who will be the ultimate victor? Will it be Obama, the candidate whose ultimate motto was for change? Or will it be the war-hero McCain who dominates?
Only time will tell!

EDIT: WOOHOOO and history's officially been made as Obama's win sounds over the television channels and the web branches of the internet!

Yeah, okay, so the whole election thing was an excuse to update my journal. *shrug*
Slightly more on a personal level--both parts of chapter 3 of MOY have been up since Halloween for anyone who likes it.

Yeah you might not think so by the utter lack of promised updates and such, but I am still doing stuff!
For Halloween morning/ mid-morning there should be a new chapter for MOY.

Drawings...well, I can't find the scanner yet, and I'm beginning to think my older sister has it somewhere in her room ( >.<() )..and she's been in a generally-not-too-pleasant mood for...a while...and she's scary when she's got a short fuse.

Anyways, one of the reasons it's been taking me so long to do anything at home is because after four years, and three contractors (aka house builders, and we're on our 4th due to a LONG story) it was only within the last few weeks it got walls, and only a few *days* that we've FINALLY gotten a covering over a major section of the house. I say covering, because shingles and other protective stuff isn't on yet, it's just plywood and paper right now.
Unfortunately, while that section of our house didn't even have sidewalls, just floorboards, said floorboards were exposed to New England weather, and have weakened to the point where many of them are about to crack or break under too much weight, so now the flooring needs to be replaced.
Even worse, some of the walls of what-were-supposed-to-be-already-done rooms had to come down because they sprouted black mold and other such not-so-pleasant things for a person to breathe in.

Also unfortunately, while the large just-roofed-in section can't handle our items like tables and beds, all those items have had to be put into a smaller space--For example the main room of the house is A: a living room, B: a storage area, and C: my mom's bedroom, and I share my space (aka my bed and the table my computer's on) with the Washer, Dryer, boxes of stuff packed years ago, and shelves of towels, sheets, thirty-year-old-instruments, and other miscellanious things all in such a small space that the dryer door can't open all the way while my computer chair is in the room.

Yeah...and while we're on the bad news--

my favorite earphones broke...well alright the Left earphone broke off the headset first, but that was okay 'cuz I could fix it with some rubber bands, but then four or five days ago my right earphone cracked off too.
*sigh* Oh well, at least I managed to find something else I could listen to music through.

So anyway, I'm going back to MOY so I can at least keep that promise of a new chapter--Happy Halloween!

Edit: one final note: I just noticed I'm only 3 past 1,000 pageviews and have to say "HOLY CRAAAA-AAAAP!"

holy crap i'm BAAA-AAAAAACK!

Well, I don't know where I'm going to be going after (possibly) taking a vaca at my family's house. I want to stay up there, but I know one doesn't always get what they wish for.
Been packing, only because my apartment is cold compared to the inferno outside (I'm calling it "inferno", and I *like* heat). Got more packing and trashing to do. Gotta seperate the worksheets or handouts and stuff I'm packing for ref material from garbage I never want to see again or that I can get later.
Got signatures and cap and gown stuff over with. Finances has to wait.

Doing an art trade with Ladyrumplestiltskin--I dunno if I'll have sketches up before I move up to my family's house--reason being I might not get an internet connection set up since I'll be expected to move out soon enough.
Actually I dunno if I'll have anything up before I leave--I could give you what I've finished of the third chapter, but then it might end in one of those horrid 'cliffhangers'...
Still, to make anything like that happen I gotta move my butt--

Until I next update!

Um, yeah...sorry for not updating.
Anyways, take one worry off you add ten more. I'm graduating, but now I gotta reprint stuff, reanimate stuff, re-edit stuff, etc. as well as make sure to get signatures and interviews done with, pack more stuff, and generally 'try to relax'.
I don't even know, after next week, when I'll have an internet connection up to check here, since I'm going back up to my family's house for a little while before trying to move out and all that jazz. I've been here in school (through summers, too) for almost four years straight, and if I can, I'd love a summer vacation, despite the fact that people in the 'adult' world (aka those with actual regular salary-paying jobs) most likely never get summer vacations.
*SIIIIIIIIIIGH*
Anyway, first chapter of "Memories of You" is up. Short, yes. Chapter 2? Coming relatively shortly.
I debated whether to have this chapter up as the first one or the following, but decided that I like the mood I set with this chapter better.

EDIT: Chapter two is up, and I ended up redoing the chapter and saving the 'original first chapter' for the next one again--figured I kinda needed a better follow up to the end of the first chapter.
